Due to lack of spare time available, this site will no longer be updated. Alias will now be ending its run anyway, and I just can't find the time to manage the site anymore... The site, however, will still remain open for browsing but no further new material will be added. Thanks for your support for the past two years! :) --> Erin

Jennifer
Garner to Star in and Produce "Sabbatical"
Jennifer Garner is planning on producing and starring in the erotic thriller,
"Sabbatical," for Touchstone Pictures. The "Alias" star and her production
company Vandalia Films along wiht Sean Bailey and Chuck Weinstock sold the pitch
to Touchstone, which plans to shoot the film in 2006.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Sabbatical" follows a married couple
who've entered a dull phase in their relationship. To spice up things, they
agree to take a two week sabbatical - with a strict set of rules. After the two
weeks is over, the wife shows up to reunite with her husband but he's nowhere to
be found.
No director or screenwriter have been hired on to the project, which is based on
producer Chuck Weinstein's idea.
Garner is currently starring in "Alias" on TV and is also filming "Catch and
Release" for writer/director Susannah Grant.

- This very week, David Anders is once again back on the Alias set--at least, that's what I'm hearing from a few trusty spies who've never steered me wrong before. And if that weren't good enough news, how's this? Sources tell me he might be doing five episodes--or more!--this season.

- This just in from Fox. They are pulling "Kitchen Confidential" and
"Arrested Development" off the air for the rest of the month ... so we'll have
to wait for the Bradley Cooper/Michael Vartan Showdown. I'm also told
that there are only two Kitchen Confidential episodes scheduled for December,
12/5 and 12/12.
Here's an excerpt of the release from FOX:
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL will be pre-empted these
three weeks and will return to the FOX schedule in their regular time periods on
Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Following its Fall Finale, PRISON BREAK
will return to the FOX schedule in 2006 (date to be announced).
Michael Vartan guest-stars on the “French Fight” episode of KITCHEN
CONFIDENTIAL Monday, Dec. 5 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Vartan plays
“Michel,” an arrogant, womanizing French chef who steals from Jack's menu and
seduces Mimi, his head waitress, sparking a brutal feud between Nolita and a
rival French bistro.

Michael
Vartan cast in the film "Rogue"
- Alias star Michael Vartan has arrived in Australia to start
filmmaker Greg McLean's $25 million follow-up to Wolf Creek.
Vartan will play the lead role of an American journalist in Rogue, a film
centered around a man-eating crocodile.
Phone Booth, Melinda and Melinda and former Neighbours star
Radha Mitchell, AFI winner Sam Worthington, John Jarratt and Stephen Curry also
have major roles.
The film is being backed by powerful Hollywood filmmakers Bob and Harvey
Weinstein.
Filming will start today in the Northern Territory and last for three weeks,
before the production relocates for the duration of the shoot to Warburton, in
Victoria.
Rogue is McLean's follow-up film to Wolf Creek, the low-budget
horror flick that has been a surprise box-office smash. [It will be on
limited release in the US on Dec. 25. It was shown in the Sundance Film Festival
last January 2005]
Famously made for only $1.3 million, Wolf Creek racked up pre-sales of
more than $7 million.

Watch "Kitchen Confidential" Already!
- "It's insane how much fun we had. Alias
fans are going to die." That's the verdict from Bradley Cooper on his
recent reunion with former Alias costar Michael Vartan on an
upcoming episode of Kitchen Confidential, in which Michael plays a snooty rival
chef. "I think they actually moved it up to the next new episode because it's so
good," he told me at the Fox bash. A rep at Fox confirms it's true. Bradley
and Michael's episode airs when the show returns Nov. 14.
Can you smell what the Kitchen cast is cookin'? You will watch, won't you?
Kitchen desperately needs your support to stick around, and it's just too
good to go away!

Jennifer Garner is going on maternity leave. They will shoot at least one
episode without her. At least that's what I'm told. They're easing the
transition by getting Rachel Nichols out there on a solo mission in early
November. Syd stays behind.
- I have a sneaking suspicion, too, that Rachel is bad, especially because Sark
is going to "knock boots with a blonde." I'm wracking my brain trying to figure
out who else it could be? Assuming Melissa George doesn't come back...And Syd
doesn't discover peroxide.
- Well, since you asked so nicely. Do not keep your eyes off Dixon. He might not
be what he seems.

- I finally had the time to finish and change the layout! Hope you like it! Feel free to leave your comments/suggestions --> tag me!. :)
- I like Syd/Vaughn together and I've been loving purple lately, hence the theme. I'm pretty busy so I'll be a bit slow updating but it will still be updated regularly, whenever possible.
- AA is now two years old and going strong! Thanks for your support!
- As we all know, no one ever really dies on Alias. (How many times did Spy Madre come back from the grave? Hmmm?) So, if there's one show on television where you can sustain multiple rounds of a machine gun to the chest, flatline, have a funeral and still come back, it is, of course, Alias! However, at this point, I cannot tell you if Vaughn is dead for good, because in all honesty, I don't think the producers yet know... so far, nothing's coming through.

Here is what I know: Michael Vartan is definitely no longer a
series regular, and when he was written off the show, I don't think there were
any plans at that time to bring him back. However, at some point in the past
month or so (SLIGHTLY SPOILERISH so read only if
you want to know), Alias' producers did ask Michael to come back for one
to three episodes later in the season. So far as I know he hasn't signed. But if
I were a betting girl, I'd put my money--lots of it--on some kind of return at
some point for our beloved M.V. So, bottom line: Sit tight.
- David Anders is coming back in the first half of the season, I believe it will be Episode 8!
- Bradley Cooper is going to be in a Broadway play with Julia Roberts. By the way, Kitchen is NOT cancelled ... Just off the schedule for a few weeks for baseball. And though the play starts in March, I'm told this will not interfere with Kitchen's shooting.

> Michael Vartan to appear on Fox's "Kitchen Confidential"
- It's a Will and Vaughn reunion!!! I'm told Michael Vartan will play a French Chef who is Bradley Cooper's rival in the kitchen. Should be pretty dang hilarious to watch them go at it .

> Alias returns this
Thursday for its fifth season, and it has a new time slot--Thursdays at 8 on ABC
-
While congratulating executive producer JJ Abrams on his Emmy win for directing
Lost (yay!), I asked for a tease of what we can expect this season, and he coyly
addressed the rumors some of you have heard about Michael Vartan's status on the
show.
"Alias is, perhaps typically, a puzzle this year," Abrams said. "The Vaughn
storyline is not what it seems, but that's all I can say, or the writers will
kill me. They know where I live."

In their promotional material, ABC insists that Vaughn does survive the crash, but my advice to you is this: Forget everything you've heard from everywhere (including moi) and just watch the first few episodes. I know patience isn't exactly a tuberly virtue, but in this case, it's worth it.
- Aside from the big
Vaughn mystery, the fifth season also has some fantastic newcomers, including
Rachel Nichols, Balthazar Getty and Amy Acker. "The new castmembers are
strong and add interesting new qualities to the show," Abrams said. "It's the
fifth year, and it is evolving, hopefully in a way people find compelling."
Acker said she's starring in at least three episodes and said, " I hope there
will be more!" She also revealed that although she has met Jennifer Garner, "who
was so lovely," most of her scenes have been with Rachel. "I don't know what's
gonna happen, but what we did so far, we're friends who work at this agency
together. I think the Shed is what they were [calling it]. She's a rookie agent,
and I have a little more experience than her, but we're best friends."
You may have heard the speculation going around that these two new lovely ladies
may be carrying the Alias torch without Jennifer Garner someday. "It
could be a possibility, yes," Amy simply said. "I mean, they're calling Rachel's
character sort of the new Sydney."
